309S Stainless Steel Strip

309S stainless steel strip is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel renowned for its excellent high-temperature, oxidation, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in industrial applications operating in high-temperature environments. Its standard grade, 06Cr23Ni13, consists primarily of 23% chromium (Cr) and 13% nickel (Ni), with a carbon content kept below 0.08%. This ensures high-temperature strength while maintaining excellent processability and thermal fatigue resistance. 309S stainless steel strip's most notable feature is its exceptional high-temperature resistance, enabling long-term stable operation in intermittent environments below 980°C and continuous high-temperature environments below 1100°C. The high chromium and nickel content significantly enhances the material's oxidation resistance, effectively resisting harsh operating conditions such as high-temperature oxidation, sulfidation, and carbonization, preventing spalling, cracking, and performance degradation at high temperatures. Furthermore, the material exhibits excellent thermal shock resistance, allowing it to withstand frequent temperature fluctuations, making it suitable for equipment components subject to frequent thermal cycling.
