309S stainless steel strip electric heating pipe is a heating element with 309S stainless steel strip as the base material (usually used as the shell or structural component of the electric heating pipe). Its design revolves around stability and corrosion resistance in high temperature environment.
Material core characteristics
• Excellent high temperature resistance: 309S is an austenitic stainless steel, containing 22%-24% chromium and 12%-15% nickel. It can be used below 900℃ for a long time and can withstand a short-term temperature of 1100℃, which is much higher than the 304 series (about 650℃). It is suitable for high temperature heating scenarios (such as industrial furnaces and high temperature drying equipment).
• Strong oxidation resistance: It can form a dense chromium oxide protective film at high temperature, effectively resist the erosion of oxidizing media such as air and flue gas, reduce oxidation loss in long-term use, and extend the life of the electric heating pipe.
• Good mechanical properties: It still maintains a certain strength and toughness at high temperature, is not easy to crack due to thermal expansion and contraction or mechanical vibration, and can be processed into a thin-walled (0.3-1mm) tubular structure to meet the miniaturization needs of electric heating pipes.
