Material Characteristics
• Composition and Performance: 301 stainless steel strip contains 16%-18% chromium and 6%-8% nickel. After cold processing, its strength and hardness are significantly improved (hardness can reach HV 300-500). Its wear resistance is better than ordinary low-carbon steel. At the same time, it has certain corrosion resistance (better than 200 series, weaker than 304 series). It has good stability in dry environment or slightly corrosive scenes.
• Advantage Adaptation: Its high hardness and wear resistance can meet the needs of repeated friction between steel reed and yarn during the textile process, extending its service life.

Product Structure and Processing
Structural form: It is made of 301 stainless steel strip through precision rolling, stamping, forming and other processes. The surface is usually polished to reduce wear on the yarn. The spacing of the reed teeth is uniform (designed according to the fabric density). The overall shape is sheet or frame, which is used to control the density of warp yarn arrangement and guide the weft yarn in textile machines.
Processing characteristics: Since 301 material has strong rigidity after cold hardening, the stamping and molding parameters need to be precisely controlled during processing to ensure the dimensional accuracy and spacing consistency of the reed teeth, and avoid deformation or breakage due to processing stress.

Applicable scenarios
Medium and high strength textile environment: Suitable for weaving medium and coarse yarns such as cotton, linen, and chemical fibers, especially in high-speed looms. Its wear resistance can reduce reed tooth wear and yarn breakage caused by friction.
• Dry workshop environment: Suitable for use in textile workshops that are dry indoors and have no obvious corrosive gases (such as no acid mist and high humidity), to avoid humid environments that accelerate rust and affect accuracy.
Cost-sensitive scenarios: Compared with 304 stainless steel reeds, 301 materials have lower costs and are more cost-effective in ordinary textile production that does not require high corrosion resistance.

Advantages:
Strong wear resistance: High hardness after cold processing effectively resists yarn friction and extends the replacement cycle of the reed.
Good dimensional stability: high rigidity, not easy to deform under continuous force, ensuring the accuracy of warp arrangement.
Moderate cost: lower cost than 304 steel reed, suitable for conventional textile needs of mass production.
