Material Characteristics
• Composition and Performance: 304 stainless steel strip contains 18%-20% chromium and 8%-10.5% nickel. It is an austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance (resistant to most acids, alkalis, body fluids, medical disinfectants, and other media). It is non-magnetic at room temperature (it may become weakly magnetic after cold working). It has excellent ductility and toughness, making it suitable for precision drawing.
• Core Advantages: Excellent temperature resistance (stable performance within the range of -196°C to 800°C), meets food and medical safety standards, and does not release harmful substances.

Processing and Forming: Using 304 stainless steel strip as the raw material, needle tube blanks are produced through precision rolling (thickness can be controlled within 0.1-1mm), slitting, and stretching. Finished products such as medical needle tubes and industrial probes are then polished, cut, and ground. The strip material boasts a high surface finish (typically Ra ≤ 0.8μm) and high dimensional accuracy (thickness tolerance ±0.01mm), ensuring smooth inner walls and uniform outer diameters after forming the needle tube.
Performance Adaptability: Its excellent ductility enables it to be stretched into extremely fine needle tubes (such as medical needles with diameters under 0.2mm) without cracking. Its corrosion resistance ensures that the needle tubes will not rust or contaminate the medium when in contact with liquid medicine, blood, or industrial fluids.

Applications
Medical Devices: It is the core material for medical injection needles, infusion needles, and puncture needles, and must meet biocompatibility and sterility requirements to avoid irritation or allergies to human tissue.
Laboratory Equipment: It is used in sampling needles and analytical instrument probes, requiring resistance to chemical reagents (such as acidic and alkaline solutions and organic solvents).
Precision Industries: Applications such as microprobes (for testing circuit boards) in the electronics industry and inkjet printer nozzles rely on its high precision and wear resistance.
