304Ni9 stainless steel belt optical cable is an optical cable with 304 stainless steel belt with a nickel content of about 9% as the armored protective layer. Its design focuses on strengthening the adaptability to harsh environments.

Material and structure
• Core material characteristics: 304Ni9 stainless steel belt increases the nickel content to 9% on the basis of 304, further stabilizes the austenite structure, and has better corrosion resistance (especially resistance to salt spray, acid and alkali corrosion) and low-temperature toughness than ordinary 304. It also has better ductility and can better adapt to the bending and winding requirements of armor processing.
• Armor structure: Stainless steel belt is usually corrugated with a thickness of 0.1-0.3mm and then longitudinally wrapped or spirally wrapped on the outer layer of the optical cable core to form a tight metal protective layer. Some products will be covered with PE sheath on the steel belt to take into account mechanical protection and insulation to ensure the stability of the optical cable structure.
